Oddworld: Soulstorm
As the primary, cinematic sound designer for Oddworld Soulstorm Levon Schwartz was solely responsible for the sound to picture design and mixing for over 60 minutes of hi-rez animated cutscenes. Many of the sounds used crossed over to game play.
Oddworld: Soulstorm features a substantial amount of cinematic storytelling, with a full compilation of all cutscenes lasting approximately 45 to 60 minutes in total. These high-quality cinematics are integrated throughout the 15+ main levels, with many being unskippable on the first playthrough, as they are key to the overall experience. Oddworld creator Lorne Lanning personally picked Levon to do the critical sound design for what amounts to a feature film's worth of content, working closely together throughout the process.
